While photographing New York's early downtown rock scene in 1973, Chris Stein met Debbie Harry. They founded Blondie a year later. Stein chronicled the band from the very beginning and became something of a personal photographer to Harry. Like the rest of the world, Stein was smitten with Harry's charisma, spirit and style, so clearly evident in this photo.
