The intricately carved "king's stool" is used exclusively by the king of the Bamileke tribe of Cameroon during public ceremonies. Inspired by the revered "earth spider," its bold, textural design – featuring a web-like pattern of Xs, rosettes and stars – dramatically catches light and shadow. Our reproduction is handcrafted in resin, then carefully finished to capture the richness of wood.
