European campaign furnishings of the 19th century inspired our collection by the Van Thiels, echoed in the simple strength of the shapes and the rustic grain of the solid American white oak. Its chamfered legs and substantial tabletop lend refinement to the clean, forthright silhouettes. An ingenious Jupe butterfly extension mechanism designed by Robert Jupe in 1835 allows the table to effortlessly expand, with self-contained leaves that manually slide out and unfold.
