The Axel chair takes its inspiration from the sweeping, sculptural forms of 1970s postmodern designs. Handcrafted of solid oak, an openwork frame with curved contours and softly rounded edges wraps the chair in a continuous line. A cantilevered, low-slung seat appears to float within, its raked angle and channeled padding offering relaxed repose.
