In the mid 1800s, during the reign of Napoleon III, French furniture makers drew inspiration from an eclectic mix of Renaissance and neo-classical styles. Our cabinet reflects that period in its stately scale and deeply carved panels, but trades the heavy ornamentation of the day for a stripped-down silhouette that showcases the working slide bolt.
