Inspired by a found object, our piece faithfully reproduces the traditional 19th-century terra cotta pots used to store dry goods in rural China. Crafted of clay, its functional, organic form evokes the vessels' elemental beauty, its richly variegated, hand-distressed finish echoing the aged patina of the originals.
