Ebonized Wood Table Lamp
In the centuries-old Japanese art of shou sugi ban, wood is charred on its surface to increase durability while bringing out rich grain and a deep, dark hue. In our contemporary version, the ebonized wood is brushed and sanded to a smooth texture, then finished with a hand-applied black wash that lets the swirling grain pattern show through. A tailored linen shade offers a refined counterpoint.
