Our marble obelisk is modeled after a piece from the mid-19th century, when the revived interest in classical art and architecture was given a name: Neoclassicism. Like the famed Luxor Obelisk in Paris, it sets the ancient, pyramid-topped form atop a square, stepped pedestal.
