La Salle Metal-Wrapped Desk
La Salle's 1940s industrial aesthetic combines clean proportions with hand-wrapped sheet metal. Painstakingly constructed, each piece features sheet metal secured by thousands of hand-hammered nails using a centuries-old technique. In a finishing process that takes from 7-10 days per silhouette, the metal is buffed by hand and antiqued through oxidation, displaying highs and lows that reveal the artisan's hand. Its warm patina only grows richer over time.
